FCIA Event Media Coverage

FCIA Press Badge Guidelines

FCIA invites the media to all of our events. We issue press badges to qualified media. All credential requests are subject to approval by FCIA management. Media coverage is open for digital and in-person events.

Press Accreditation Guidelines

Members of general and food-specific press who do not have a business interest in chocolate are welcome to request a press pass for specific FCIA events for coverage and reporting. We are also happy to refer inquiries to individual members who may be willing to comment or expand on subjects of journalistic interest.  While we celebrate the diversity of an ever-growing abundance of chocolate-specific media businesses and recognize the important work they do to broadcast our message, we encourage them to consider joining as individual members.

We offer members of the general press (for example, a country-wide television network like CBC or world-renowned printed media such as the New York Times or The Economist) or food-specific outlets (e.g. the Food Network or Eater magazine) a free pass to selected events and gatherings, pending credential presentation and proper accreditation.

To ask for accreditation, please forward your press credentials (e.g., ID, editor letter) and a brief explanation of your objective in covering our programming to info@finechocolateindustry.org

On-Site Registration

Media registering on site at in-person events will be asked to provide evidence to provide previous media accreditation, as required for pre-registration.
